You're Kidding Me, Right?

I write to music. It helps immensely. There's a feel to music and sometimes the lyrics that allows me to tap not only into the story, but characters. Sometimes I hear a song and it's like the story opens up in my head. It's exactly what I need to get the words down.

And, sometimes when I hear a song the story opens up in my head and I go, "You're kidding me, right? THIS SONG? This one."

The reason for the snobbish outrage for certain songs? Well, one I'll be listening to the song on repeat. For hours and days for weeks and weeks...Ok. I'm a music snob. You know, I expect to like songs made for my age range. This is not to be.

The song making the story open up in my head?
Yup, Ashlee Simpson's Boys. *headdesk*
